Frequently Asked Questions
What is there to do at the Camp?
Canby Grove Conference Center has an outdoor pool, swimming in the Mollalla River (which is knee-deep), volleyball, basketball, gaga ball, ping-pong, a playground, arts and crafts, a Candy Cabin for souvenirs and snacks, and a fireside circle. Click here to see some pictures.
What kind of activities will there be?
During the day there will be group games, free time in the afternoon, cool crafts, cabin times, and amazing Chapel times with praise and worship and inspiring speakers.
What are the rooms like?
The rooms are dorm-style, with bunk beds and mattresses and common bathrooms in a separate building. There is an adult leader in each room, and boys and girls are in separate buildings in separate areas. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow or other bedding.
Will I be with my friends?
We do our best to keep churches together and you can request a roommate or cabin leader when you register. Keep in mind, cabins and church groups come in all different sizes, so you may have someone from another church in your room, or your group may be in more than one cabin next to each other, but you will have plenty of time to be with your friends throughout the day.
What are the meals like?
All meals are family style. The first meal at camp will be dinner on Monday, and the last meal is breakfast on Thursday. If you have special dietary needs, you can request that when you register for a small fee. If you have a long trip, you will need to coordinate meals along the way with your Camp Coordinator.
How will I get to camp?
The Camp Coordinator at your church will help you organize transportation. All vehicles will come directly to the camp, so we encourage everyone to carpool or use a bus or van whenever possible to cut down on traffic into the camp.
What time should I arrive and be picked up?
All campers should arrive at 1 pm the first day of camp (not sooner). Camp will be over at 11 am on the last day, and you will be free to get lunch on the way home.

What if I have medications to take?
All prescription and non-prescription medications must be brought in the original containers with dosage information on the label, and given to the Camp Nurse at the time of check-in. Only the licensed Camp Nurse will administer them at the appropriate times during the week.
What if I get hurt?
There will be a qualified nurse on site at all times to administer first aid, distribute medications, and call for emergency services if needed. Your parent/guardian will fill out a Medical Release and Information form with all your information when they register.
What if I have food allergies?
The kitchen is able to provide special meal options that are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan or vegetarian. There is a small fee for this service and you can select it upon registration. There is no fee for nut-free requests.
What if I need a refund?
All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, in the event of a medical or other emergency, special refunds may be requested, but are not guaranteed.
Who is running the camp?
Canby Grove Conference Center owns the facility. The camp program is being sponsored by the Greater Oregon Region of the Northwest District of Foursquare Churches. It is open to any Fourquare Churches within driving range, regardless of region. If your Church Coordinator is not on the mailing list, they can sign up here.
