Camper Registration
All campers must be registered by the parents, not the church or camp coordinator. This is so they can sign the Medical Information and Release Form in case of an injury.
For coodinators, the only thing that is required is promotion, transportation, and recruiting cabin leaders. Simply print off the flyers and bulletin inserts, give the slide to your technical crew if you have digital advertisements or a website, and let the parents register and pay for their own campers. They can click on the QR code on the flyer or you can send them the link to the website at https://camp.crfoursquare.com/.
The process is simple:
- Use the provided materials to promo the camp.
- The parents click on the button, register, pay and fill out the Medical Release form (if they have a Gift Card Code, they will enter it at this time).
- You will have access to an updated GoogleSheet list with contact information for follow up and transportation.
- Your done!
What about their contact information?
Each coordinator will have access to a live GoogleSheet with all the campers' information. This sheet will update in real time so there is no need to contact us. If they are signed up, their info will be on the list.
How do we pay?
It is already taken care of in registration. Your church bookkeeper will not have to manage one dime, they will give you a big hug, and your parents will think you are awesome. You get all the benefit and we do all the work!
What if we want to subsidize or fundraise?
We offer Gift Cards for each church to be able to subsidize the fees. Purchase as many Gift Cards as you need, distribute them to parents, and have them sign up the normal way. When they enter the Gift Card Code, the fees are taken care off. Each Gift Card may only be used once.
What if we want to charge for transportation?
This is simple as well, just have the parents pay you directly, on the day of or with a digital payment beforehand. Any additional fees will not go through the camp.
What if a parent does not have a computer or smart phone?
This is one area a church coordinator can help out. You can let them use your device for registration at church. Only be sure NOT to register for them, as the medical information is private and they need to sign the Release Form themselves.
What if our sixth-graders go to middle school?
Every church and school district does things a little differently. It is up to each church to decide whether to send their kids to Kid's Camp or another youth camp. We are flexible!
What about medical release forms?
These are integrated into the registration process. All of the pertinate information will be confidential to the nurse and directors, and any cabin leader instructions will be shared with the cabin leaders.
How do we handle medications?
All medication must be brought in the original prescription bottle with label, and given by the parent or child directly to the nurse at camp. We respect the privacy of every child, and do not release the child's personal medical information to cabin leaders. The cabin leader will simply have a list of which kids need to see the nurse at morning or evening.
Our hope is to make the most effective and efficient system for registration and free you to love and disciple kids, which is what you were called to do in the first place!
